As a qualified Bartister-at-law called to the English & Welsh Bar and an advocate & solicitor in Malaysia, she currently sits on the Youth Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) committee. She is also a Legal & Corporate Advisor for UMediC Group Berhad. Prior to this, she was in Wong & Partners, a member firm of Baker McKenzie International and Azmi & Associates.
She has been involved in a range of corporate and commercial matters. She participated in several M&A transactions and due diligence exercises which include the largest M&A deal in Asia in 2020. She has advised on the licensing and equity requirements for education, automotive, manufacturing, healthcare and oil & gas industries.
Her work usually includes drafting and reviewing different agreements or policies in respect of employment matters, manufacturing, services, privacy, non-disclosure, marketing, confidentiality, non-competition and many others. She has also successfully handled the IPO for UMediC Group Berhad.

Gan Yen Yen earned her Law degree from the esteemed Northern University of Malaysia (UUM). Before joining Ng Law Firm, she was with Messrs Winston Ng & Teoh, a distinguished law firm based in Penang.
She has valuable experience in a wide range of legal matters, including employment, property management, debt recovery, commercial litigation and construction litigation. Her exposure to these complex and challenging cases has honed her legal skills and cemented her passion for the law.
She now serves as the Penang Bar Sports Subcommittee Member for 2023-2024. She also serves as a Graphic Designer in Voix D’Advocat Penang Bar Law Magazine Publication Team.
