Althea A. Vergara

Atty. Vergara received her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of San Carlos in 2018. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2019. She is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines - Cebu Chapter.​

During her fourth year in law school, she was one of the recipients of the merit-based Legal Scholarship Program of the Foundation for Liberty and Prosperity, founded by Retired Supreme Court Justice Artemio Panganiban. She was also the Chairperson for the University of San Carlos Bar Operations in 2017.

She graduated cum laude from the same university with a bachelor's degree in Management Accounting. 

Prior to joining HMVCC Law, she worked as an Associate of J.P. Garcia & Associates, which is the only law firm in Cebu specializing in energy laws. Her practice area also includes corporate law and labor law.
