Muteti is a graduate of the University of Nairobi (UoN) and a member of the Law Society of Kenya and East Africa law Society. In addition, he is a Certified Secretary (CS), having undertaken the relevant courses that were administered by the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB).Before his admission to the Bar, Muteti received legal training and practiced extensively in the Firms of Lesinko Njoroge and Gathogo Advocates as well as Begi & Company Advocates. His practice areas include litigation, conveyancing and real estate, criminal law, employment, family law, human rights, constitutional law, election law, healthcare & medical law, corporate and commercial law practice. Further, Muteti has an extensive experience in banking & finance, project finance, technology, media & telecommunications, intellectual property, trade and investment and energy & infrastructure projects.
